Bridging the gap between flight sim enthusiasts and real-world aviation.

Flight Simulation Mentorship
Not everyone who loves aviation gets to fly. Some are just starting out. Some hold a certificate and want to stay sharp. Some will never hold a medical — but that doesn't mean the sky isn't theirs. Marc meets you where you are and helps you go further than you thought you could from the ground.
Marc is not a certified flight instructor. This is passion-driven mentorship, is not flight training.
Young Aviators
Middle and high schoolers who are drawn to flight can build a real foundation here — aviation knowledge, sim proficiency, and a map of what a path to the cockpit actually looks like.
Certificated Pilots
Real-world pilots who want to log more hours, practice procedures, or explore scenarios they don't get in a rental. The sim is a serious tool — used right, it keeps you sharp between flights.
Grounded Enthusiasts
A medical condition or disability doesn't disqualify you from aviation — not in the virtual skies. Marc helps enthusiasts build real knowledge and fly with real purpose, on their own terms.
Sim Enthusiasts
Already flying MSFS or X-Plane and want to go deeper? Learn how real-world procedures, ATC communication, and flight planning work — and why it makes the sim so much more meaningful.
Aviation has always had gatekeepers. Marc isn't one of them. If you're drawn to flight — for any reason, from any starting point — there's a place for you here.

Membership-based platform
Odyssey Aviation began with a simple idea — give sim pilots something worth flying toward. Curated VFR flight plans, handcrafted MSFS scenery, and routes with real narrative behind them. That foundation grew into something bigger.
Odyssey Command is an online flight simulation economy platform where pilot decisions shape the world around them. Every flight has stakes. Every route has context. The goal has always been the same: use story and purpose to bring sim pilots closer to the real thing — without them ever feeling like they're sitting through a lesson.
This is aviation education the way it should be. Immersive, driven, and impossible to put down.

tabletop ANDROID is the callsign and online identity of Marc Ferguson — a general aviation enthusiast, community builder, and lifelong gamer who never really had to choose between the skies and the tabletop.
Marc is a frontend engineer by trade, a sim pilot by obsession, and a community organizer by nature. He's an active EAA member, a Pathfinder GM, and the founder of Odyssey Aviation — a platform built to bridge the gap between flight simulation and real-world general aviation. His goal is straightforward: make aviation more accessible, more connected, and a lot more fun to be part of.
The setup you're looking at tells the whole story. That's not a gaming rig — that's a flight deck. And somewhere nearby, there's a bag of dice.
Community Impact
Marc is a proud member of EAA Chapter 690 in Lawrenceville, Georgia (KLZU). This chapter isn't just a place to talk about airplanes -- it's a community that shows up, serves, and invests in aviation at every level.
Sim Eagles Program
Actively involved in connecting students and aviation enthusiasts with real CFIs and experienced pilots, using simulation as a gateway into real-world training and mentorship.
Volunteer Leadership
Managing the kitchen during our Pancake Breakfast events — coordinating food prep and keeping things running smoothly on event day. Aviation brings people together, but pancakes definitely help.
